Entering the details of your events may appear a bit daunting at first but it is quite a simple process and is best explained with some examples.
'Morning', 'Lunch' or 'Evening' will automatically be selected depending on the start time you enter. You can of course change this as required.
Always remember to enter a start and finish time, select a venue and click 'Save Event':
- You meet every week on a Tuesday - choose Weekly, enter the date of your last meeting, enter a start and finish time and click 'Save Event'
- Similar to 1 above but you meet fortnightly - simple select 2 from the 'and repeat every' list
- Your meetings are always held on the second Thursday of each month - choose Monthly, enter the date of your last meeting, select 'Second' and 'Thursday', enter a start and finish time and click 'Save Event'
- If you also meet monthly but on the second AND fourth Thursday of each month then enter the first event as described in 3 above. Then enter a second event, only this time, enter the date of your last meeting that took place on the fourth Thursday and select 'Fourth' and 'Thursday' instead.
- Some groups meet on a regular basis but not on specific dates each week or month. In this case, select Monthly (or Weekly) and un-tick 'Recurring Schedule'
- Finally, if your meetings are irregular with no specific pattern then choose Ad-hoc
