Young entrepreneurs organise networking event with regional businesses

Year eight and nine students at a Norwich school invited regional business people to come and join them for a business breakfast.

These young entrepreneurs held the event within Sewell Park CollegeĀ and offered business leaders the opportunity to share their expertise and experiences over baked pastries and coffee. The breakfast event took place between 7.15am and 8.45am on Friday 16th July and attracted companies such as The Strand, Spice Lounge and Bombay Spice. (more…)

Newly-graduating university students set to go graduate into Summer school featuring a speed networking event

Entrepreneurial students from Nottingham Trent University will have the opportunity to go straight from their final year graduation to a summer school which will help with setting up their own business.

The Hive is offering a ‘HiveStart to… Summer School’ at the university’s enterprise development unit, which will be two separate weeks, between the 21st of June and 2nd of July.

The course will be written and delivered by professionals within the respective industries and could offer graduates their next step into business ownership.

Networking event for young entrepreneurs to be held in Manchester

Junior Chamber International Manchester, formerly the Manchester Junior Chamber of Commerce, is holding an event for the region’s young entrepreneurs and professionals to learn about its services and facilities.

JCI Manchester is an organisation that focuses on organising networking, training and social events for young professionals between 18 and 45.

Starting out as a young entrepreneur can be a highly lucrative opportunity, but is often riddled with uncertainty and potential complications, so accruing a list of influential and successful contacts is an absolute must.
