While business networking is a must for every type of industry, there are certain businesses that will see more of a significant benefit.

It is a given that a young or start-up company should be networking as much as possible to simply get the business name out there and establish themselves as part of the industry. This is particularly useful at regional events, as local businesses tend to be more receptive to newcomers. Relationships formed at this stage are also usually stronger and will last longer. (more…)

Free workshop and networking event to help start-up businesses in Lancashire

A free event held at Springhill Community Centre this Thursday will give advice to new businesses and allow them to network with each other.

No Limits Get Set will help potential entrepreneurs explore their business skills, finances, market competitors, demand and legal issues.

Running for three years now, No Limits Get Set has helped over 1500 business start-ups and brings together 11 different projects to help companies who want to work independently and grow.

How often are you surrounded by people?! Everyday! So everyday is a networking opportunity!

While networking events are great for talking to people specifically in your industry, networking shouldn’t just be limited to these events. You should see every venue every day as a networking event and act accordingly. OK – we’re not saying just walk up to a random stranger in the street and start blabbering on about how great your business is! That would just be weird and alarming! We’re saying make the effort to get to know people because they could turn into a great business contact in the future. (more…)
